I HAVE A FRIEND OVER SEAS WHO ASKED ME TO FIND OUT IF COBRA 1.7 ROCKERS WILL FIT ON AFR 185 HEADS. I MYSELF AM OVERSEAS AND HAVE NO ACCESS TO A PHONE TO CALL THEM AND FIND OUT. ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED. THANKS,

I don't think they will work...i think the cobra rockers are bolt down and the afr is stud mount. You may have to go with a ford head to use those rockers. I'd get the AFR's and different rockers!

89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:
Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D
Dont 185 have bigger valves like 1.94. With 1.7 rockes you would want to check piston to valve clearance. Also what cam is he running?
Cobra rockers will work, if the heads are pedestal mount. AFR offers both stud mount and pedestal mount heads
The 185 heads have 2.02 intake valves and 1.6 exhaust valves.
Piston to valve clearance should always be checked.
