New dyno #'s and a few questions

Well I made 525.4rwhp and 455rwtq. Car was pulling very hard but a few things came up.

    1. If my attachment works, you will see my boost and air/fuel curves. Any ideas as to what the spike in boost is from at 4500-5200? Does it have to do with the Mondo bypass?

    2. My PMS was reading 6 at idle. When we reved it, it went to negative(vac) and then back to 6 at idle. Wiring problem between plug and map sensor. It's a GM 3-bar. Any ideas?

So for now, I have the PMS hooked up with the boost control turned off and using the BTM to take out timing. Total timing is around 20*, I believe.

    Anybody?

At 4500 the car sounds like it's taking off. Like something is closing or opening. Then it does that throughout the spike(4500-5200), and then just keeps on pulling up to 6200. Could it have something to do with the Mondo? Maybe the s/c? My hp/tq curve follow the spike also. The hp goes up from 350 to 455 from 4500-5100, then stays flat until about 5500 where it starts to rise again. I saw 525.4 at about 6200 and peak tq was at 5200. Any ideas?

its prolly the fuel change when it goes into stand alone. at 4000 when it goes into stand alone the A/F goes to 12.8:1, this should be compensated by your FP or FMU, but that quick change sometimes will do that and you will need to add some fuel at 4000 and 6000 to clear up that lean spike.

Thanks. Any idea why the boost curve looks like it does? Could it have something to do with the bypass?

first off I wouldnt over analyze your boost curve just yet, it is possible becuase of the lean spike that the RPMS jumped up causing this spike. First thing to do is get rid of the lean spike then go from there, One problem at a time. also make sure your vac line to the bypass is hooked up, if not it will blow off boost around 15psi, normally you wouldnt have to adjust this bypass unless your not running a return hose to before the blower with a MAF. did you post your HP and TQ curve, I didnt see it, only the a/f and boost.
