    sn-92 to Novi 1000

Great site people! Just found out about via a post I just made at the corral, so I will pose my question here also: Is it worth it to upgrade from my old sn-92 ball drive to the new Novi? Has anyone here done this and if so can you share your experience?

    YES!

    and YES!!!

I went from a SN2000 (SN92) to a Novi1000 the "CAST" bracket is the same but the plate is different the Novi 1000 beats the ball supercharger hands down!1 magor differance is ill bet it takes at least 10 hp to run the ball charger....ill bet you have a tuff time turing the pully on the ball unit with your hands!!! Novi1000 you can spin easily with your hands.....plus changeing the fluid was a pain with the SN2000.......funny thing was i spent 2000 for my SN2000...and 1600 for the NOVI...and my new best ET with the Novi is 11.44@123 with a stock block and cam!

Thank You!! I just took the sn-92 off the car and getting ready to put it on E-bay:D

I've got a one piece ASP underdrive/overdrive crank pulley I guess I need to get rid of too since from what I have read here the Novi kits come with a 8 rib pulley..

    Thanks again!
