    how much boost before you need a bypass???

    can i run the novi2K in stock form with a powerpipe and still be okay? does the regular kit even come with a small bypass of some sort. thanks Bryan

    no! you don't want to run a 2k without a bypass! A novi 1k is marginal without a bypass. Believe me. I'm putting a bypass on this week.
    89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:





    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D

    If I recall correctly, the N2K comes with a bypass valve, not sure of the type, size, etc but it does have one included with the normal kit.

    the guy above is right.. a stock novi1000 is pushing it... and the novi2k kit does come with a bypass... there are better ones but it is definitely fine for stock boost. good luck

    The Novi2k comes with a Bosch bypass valve. Do not run a Novi2k without the bypass, you are just asking to send the head unit back in for a rebuild.
