How many of you are using a 76MM C&L Meter?

Something tells me this is my problem with my real bad surging problem. The space is so tight between the fender and blower, that I can't clock the meter at all. This is the only thing that I think could be the problem now. Here is a pic of how close it is.

you do run that with a filter right? cause it would run like crap with out it. i had my 76 in the same position and it wouldn't idle. Flipped it over no change at all. Put it in the fender with a power pipe and it idles great now. what injectors you running?
89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:

    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D

also do you have your pcv hooked up in that black inlet tube between the meter and the blower? Unmetered air will cause a whole bunch of problems. Plug that off and see what happens.

What do you mean by pcv hooked up into the inlet tube? I have the hose that connects it to the bypass hooked up.

I do run it with the filter. I just had it off when I took the pic cause I was trying to see if I could clock it any better.
