Ditching fmu
I am new to the supercharged scene and have a few questions I would like answered. I have the novi-2000 running 8-9lbs of boost on a 302 stock bottom end with gt-40 aluminum heads b303 cam, cobra intake, 24lb injectors, fuel pressure is set at 30lbs at idle with vac. on, the FMU is 10:1, the mass air looks like a stock unit (can you calibrate a stock unit to 24lb injectors?).
1. I see fuel pressures of over 110 psi at full boost is this normal?
2. I want to go 36lb injectors with a matched mass air and get rid
of my fmu would this work? or should I keep the fmu and get lower rate one? My car runs great at idle and WOT and I
would like it to stay that way. Its just that over 100psi fuel
pressure scares me.
3. What does the novi 2000 set up on the stock 19lb injectors
run as far as fuel pressure at 8lbs of boost?
Any feed back will be greatly appreciated.
I did search and didn't quite find the answers I was looking for.

Yes this is normal

You will have no problems with the 36's, I did it and made 470+rwhp. I would suggest 42's with your current mods. It is very easy to take out fuel, but its hard to do if your out of injector.
3. What does the novi 2000 set up on the stock 19lb injectors

It runs about 100psi under boost
Hope this helps
