Today I took my car out for a ride around the neighborhood. Maybe like 20 minutes or so. Anyway, I was just babying it around, under 3000 RPM's. When I got home, the blower itself was extremely hot. If I put my hand on the blower for longer than a second, it would have burned me. Is it normal for it to get that hot? How hot does your blower get after a little drive?

well it will be at least as hot as the engine oil that runs through it, and thats pretty hot. I suppose an oil cooler is a great solution to this but i haven't talked myself into it yet.

Yea, the hot oil running through doesn't help. I just wanted to make sure that something wasn't wrong or anything. I have been really paranoid to make sure everything is perfect. Just trying to get an idea if these things get real hot (too hot to touch).

i have an oil cooler and its still preatty hot...
