    Novi 1000 tough to tune?

    I have heard a couple of folks say that the Novi 1000 is tough to tune. Is there any truth to this? I am planning on installing one on a 93 Cobra. Is the Novi any more difficult to install or tune than any other supercharger?

    Pure propaganda. I never had tuning issues related to the Novi. When I had my Novi-1k it worked like a champ, just have to understand the fundamentals of tuning a forced induction vehicle is all you really have to understand.

    But a reputable tuner can be of assistance as well.

    89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:





    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D

    I had some small idle issues untill I got a bypass valve.
    But all was well after that

    Fuel Management Unit. It raises fuel pressure under boost, but can be eliminated with bigger injectors, and mass airflow unit.
    Custom chip also helps.
