    need a good starting tune

    the install is done just need to punch the oil pan. will do that this weekend.
    What is a good base line tune?
    timing = ?
    FP = ?
    plug gap with msd 6al = ?

    Timing at 10 initial

    Fuel pressure 40psi vac off

    Spark plugs gapped at .035

    Good luck let us know what happens.

    should i use colder plugs?

    You could use a autolite 24 to step it down one range if you wanted, but Im not sure you would have to at the stock boost level.

    chuck, with your C&L, do you have any pictures of how you mounted it inside your engine bay? im thinking about buying a pro-m and get rid of my 76 C&L.

    Well I have a power pipe, that's how I got it in the fenderwell.

    It is a Morpheus, call him he has them in stock.

    did you ever have your car breaking up (feeling like it bucks a lil) after your car heats up? also whats your timing at and gap on plugs, FP?

    The only time my car had a breaking up problem was before I bought my MSD 6BTM.

    It was definatly spark blowout in my case I couldnt get over 4500 rpm.

    I used to have a small bucking prob at low rpm but it cleared right up after I put the morpheaus pipe on.

    I think it is because the bend in the inlet for the NOVI is to close the Mass Air sensor.

    If you can fit it, try to put an extenion so that there is a straighter peice of pipe behind the Mass air.
    Alot of people have good luck with this aswell as clocking there meter

    yea ill probably try that 1st before the power pipe right now. its cheaper too.
