    Changing pullies

Hey guys.. I'm trying to change from a cog pulley on the head unit to a normal belt pulley and I can't get the cog pulley off! I don't think a regular pully puller would be able to get underneath it. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

All you have to do is to the bolt out with a Impact Gun. But also you need to add heat to the pulley....once you heat the pulley up it will slide off. I have used a propain torch in the past, and it works great. Once it's one, just take the impact gun and give it a couple quick hits, and you are done. Do NOT try to hold the impeller wheel with your hand or fingers, or it could take some skin with it, if it spins loose.

    Hope this helps.EA

I finally got it off! I had to heat it up pretty good with mapp gas and walk it off with a couple screwdrivers. Thanks SVTKid
