    Best way to get 10+ psi

    I am installinG my new DSS pro 306 and would like to up the boost to 10 psi +. Whats the best way, vortech crank pulley or just a blower pulley. is the new 1k blower the same as the old 1k kit ? if so how fast are the old setup guys spinning them to make 10-15 psi?

    thats about it, a powerpipe & the ASP 8" crank pulley. your results will vary a couple lbs depending on your set up. if your heads are huge & you have a mondo ported intake it may take a blower pulley on top of this to get to 10-12 psi....but your still moving the same air, just more efficiently......

    anybody know what the stock old style novi supercharger pulley measures?

    what im wondering is with an 8" crank pulley and 3" blower pulley, an Strim or YS trim will make 18 psi, why only 10 psi with an 8" pulley on the novi?

    are you guys shifting at 4500 or something?

    hehe, no, the impeller size is different...if you did the 8" crank & the 3" blower you would deffinately be over 10psi. i only added that incase you had huge heads & intake, a couple lbs can be lost with the larger volume even though your moving the same amount of air! IMO the 8" crank & 3" blower could reap 15psi easily. i only added other options incase for some reason you didnt hit 10psi with the 8" crank. there are a couple here who didnt.............
