difference a pulley has on a early novi 1000

Just curious why an 8" pulley will add more boost to the car, then adding an 8" pulley on a newer version novi 1000.

You will gain the same amount but the new 1K will cost much more as it is a double pulley.

The head unit from old version to new is the same.

i thought it would be a little less since the new school has a larger blower pulley.
89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:

    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D

I wonder if anyone has tried the older head unit on the newer belt setup. Small blower pulley with 2 belt setup... that would be cool... :)

The blower pulley is smaller on the old style Novi's compared to the newer ones.
I seen 8lbs with a 8" on a new style and guys with the old were seeing around 14lbs.
