Mikey, you running the single belt or the dual belt Novi 1000?

If you are running the single, there's no need to spend the money on a delete. You simply need to make a bracket to brace the Alt. There's a few good threads on different methods on how to do this.

Single belt...i just ordered the summit del...guess ill have to send it back......do you know the threads of the alt bracket?
