where do you guys get new blower belts???

my novi 2K came with a dayco 5100568(56.8" long?)...i think its a little long, when i get it tensioned good it comes within an inch of the idler pulley, and since its new i thought it would stretch a little a eventually touch.
are dayco belt even any good? im sure there is a better one available.

Dayco's are your common run of the mill generic autoparts variety. The goodyear line is good as well as the gates line, both can had at an autoparts store, ya just need to let the monkey behind the counter allow you back there where you can find the length you need.

I still chuckle at their look when I tell them I need a long *** belt (forget the exact length) for a 92 mustang...." That won't fit sir, my computer says you need a XX.XX inch belt, that one's too long"

O'rieley's (sp?) & Advance Auto Parts, I think Autozone carries them as well.

Just tell them that your wife picked up the wrong size & didn't save the receipt, shouldn't have any problem. May even let you upgrade to a better quality belt if you pay the difference.
