    finally made it to the track.........

    Well I made a few passes last night w/ the D2R and the only problem I had was my converter was way too tight but I'm glad to say she ran a 9.02 @ 161 w/ a 1.5 60 ft because of the converter and the elevation was just over 2000 ft at the time .The program was a mild tune as well . I think once the converter is loosened w/ that mph I should see a mid 8 second pass .......not bad for the little blower ;)
    1 nasty tubbed procharged 86'gt
    331 r/block- Scat billet, GRP, etc ,D2R, Spearco race liq/air intercooler(all under a STOCK hood),FAST Seq., Mikes ultimate glide, 9" blah, blah ...

    9.02 @161.32 w/ a screwed up converter.....8's here I come !!!!!!

    That's really terrific! No question about it, mid 8's should be fairly easy once things are sorted out. What was your total weight? Also, what is the converter stalling at now and what are you shooting for?

    Congrat's, that's really impressive for that little D-2R.

    weight ws 3060 w/ me in it ,the veh still has all steel factory outside body panels.

    The convertor stalls around 5500 but we were leaving at 4000 on the brake as it just wanted to blow the tires off,I am running on ET Streets .The stall is fine but at the line it is almost like a turbo car as it spools up so slow but once it starts moving it really starts to pull,escpecially in the mid to top end

    1/8 was 5.92 @ 126 and remember I was having some serious issues w/ a tight converter so after it is changed it will get faster.


    Anyone know of any D2R car thats gone faster mph wise or for that matter et wise ..........no one can tell me and procharger is telling this is the fastest they have heard mph wise.....so stay tuned

    I agree the times & mph should improve. I hear of one other person running 126 in the 1/8 with a D2R. You're giving me hope. I was thinking of going with a 91mm turbo. Can't wait to put the 408 in.

    The datalogger recorded 24 lbs and thats after the intercooler
