Does this sound like a good deal?

Any questions I should ask the guy. Does the cam sound like a good blower spec? Thanks guys.

I do have a 359 combo coming in which consist of a cleaned ready to go 4.040" 1984 351W block (1 pc rear main seal), a machined .010/.010 crankshaft, reconditioned HD truck rod F2TE-AA (used in 1999 S351 Saleen), and a set of forged TRW dished lo compression pistons. I am confident this combo will take 600 rwhp with ease.

I am selling this combo with a matching retro fit hyd com cam, oil pan, pickup, and dipstick for $800.00.

The spec on the cam is:

    566/577" lift
    281/289* duration
    LSA 112*

Man you need to be able to lay your hands on it to inspect it. I would never buy something like an engine unless I could do a hands on inspection of it and have someone with me who is more knowledgeable than myself. Just my .02

I can pick it up, he is in dallas. What appears to be the problem? I believe this is the kit that dmpmw had planned for his turbo buildup.

It's not assembled either Ian. Sound any better know? I'm working on getting specs. If anything, I could just get a new block.

Still too cheap IMHO - just make sure you can set your hands on all the parts.

Yes, for sure. I will be picking it up myself if I do decide to buy it. I'm a little skeptical about the block being bored .04 over, but I dunn know. I could come up with another block pretty easy.

Just seems like a good deal. I'm going to contact mike as well, to ask more questions.

Doug, where do you see the problem at? Is it the price?

Chris, the guy just said that it was free from any defects and that he would "take care of it" if things where otherwise. I will have a second set of experienced eyes with me as well when I go to pick it up. I'm still waiting to here from dmpmw on this matter.

just got an email from Mike. He said the guy is very reputable, and that he wouldn't hesitate to use the parts. Hell, he actually still has the parts in the garage. :)
