    Buy ya a nice lifetime warranty one at a local parts store & be done with it, that way if it fries in the future you're covered.

    yeah, thought of that, its not a big deal...just bad timing under the circumstances.....im upgrading to a bigger 130 or 140 amp anyways....that other alt i bought was obviously junk, damn ebay scam artists! it was supposedly a stock housed alternator rewound to 130amps...yeah right, didnt help very much, only upped voltage above 11-1200 rpm(nothing at idle) & lasted well under a year(90 day warrenty).....bastards!
