    Unhappy will i be going wrong with this suspension???

    well i am about to sink another butt load of money into my car i am spending faster than making.... but anyways.. i am about to purchase the maximum motorsports street/strip kit with cc plates, adj. uppers and lowers, shocks, struts, pinion snubber, coil springs, and all polyurethane bushings... it was either that or steeda springs, and the rest would be upr products... but with the upr products the shocks/ struts are adjustable... this is definitely a street driven car so if anyone has any insight please let me know thanks..

    ps. btw mm kit = 1600 and upr/ steeda = 1540

    Well I just did a coil over conversion front/rear. I used QA-1 struts, coils, shocks. The struts, shocks are adjustable. I mean that alone cost me $1000. It all depends on what you want. I am really happy with my QA-1 setup. The front-end just makes a little more noise than it did stock :)

    Kits aren't always the way to go. Yes you get almost everything you need, but me. I buy what I like. I look around, and I buy piece buy piece. It's more money, but it makes me happy and like I said it's what I want.

    89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:





    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D

    Very true on MM's quality. I have an old set of their LCA's and they are nicely made pieces. They (MM) know their stuff when it comes to suspension for road race applications.

    However, if you are looking for straight-line only Troy, then that can be done on a budget. Kevin$ on the Corral has done impressive things with modifying stock components.
