Machinist weighed it in at ~160#'s, you should have seen me wrestle that thing onto the engine stand and outta the bed of my truck by myself :D
I always have best luck painting it after it is fully assembled.
I love my dart block so good luck with yours. Are you going solid roller or with link bar lifters?

I've got the gold plated link bar lifters :D
May eventually go with a solid set-up if I ever get a "real" blower, lol.
What oil pan do you have? Happen to have the part# handy??
I figured that it'd be easier to paint w/o having all the crap on there, looked like it'd be easier to tape/mask everything off that way.
I'd better eat a lot of Wheaties before I buy one of those!Machinist weighed it in at ~160#'s, you should have seen me wrestle that thing onto the engine stand and outta the bed of my truck by myself
What color are you going to paint it?

I purchased the Jeff Johnston's billet fab oil pan. It was kind of expensive, but it definitely didn't have any clearance problems with the block. It didn't come with a dipstick either, but that might be an option that I didn't order.

You can make the Dart 302 into a 385, but it still would not touch Doug and if it did I am sure it would not be for long :p

I guess he file fit the rings huh? I was confused at first.
That thing looks like it would make a hell of a boat anchor!
