I think I'm going to get myself a set of mavromont pony r's! Now to just decide if I can justify the extra 300 bucks to get the chrome over the silver.

street wheel? Silver = low maintanence yeah i love the chrome though
89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:
Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D
I really wish that wheel was 17x9 but aside from that they are a great wheel. I like chrome.

actually the chrome is truely low maintenance. it doesnt need polishing like aluminum wheels(weld etc.). they can just be washed with regular car soap. then a chrome polish once every 6 months or so.......BUT, brent is right, weather & everything else under the sun effect the longevity of chrome. though beautiful, it realistically only lasts 5 years under perfect condtions. then small blems/discoloration takes effect & worsens regardless of perfect maintenance.......i love chrome wheels though, most who have seen my website know im a chrome freak, lol!
brandon, the mavromont ponies are a great choice. you can keep the factory appearance yet add a subtle street look with a lower profile 17" tire, as well as gain added handling from the taller wheel!

Just not sure yet.
I guess it's possible to make the bullit's and others fit with a lincoln rotor if you do a little grinding here and there. This is another option I'm thinking about.
I'm thinking some mach 1's might be pretty neat. I know alot of people don't like em, but there is somthing about them on a fox.

Machs came off a secret concept pinto from the 70s.lol
lmao, steve, I havn't had any luck tracking down some villians. What did you do for your 5 lug swap? sn95? svo rotors?
90 strawberry coupe
the svo rotors work great for just about all after market 5lug wheels. i could be wrong, but the hat is just to tall for most of the ford wheels. the benefit frm the sn95 setup is you get better brakes plus the option to add even bigger brakes down the road! cant beat it for the price really.....but its about personal preference & what you really want from your car.....oh yeah, & affordability, hehe......im only saying to weigh it all out before deciding. regrets suck, think ahead =)

edit: a few beers & suddenly i cant spell, lol! go figure =)

I'm thinking I'm not to concerned with brakes for quite some time. Justin, any suggestions on aftermarket wheels?

yeah, the 1st ones you pic'd, the ROH zs wheels. ROH makes some great wheels, they back 'em up with a healthy warrenty as well. great structural design with appealing looks!....personally i like the just about all the staggered offset wheels like the AZEV type A's, BBS RK's, MODA R8's, O.Z. galileo III's, SSR GT3's(favorites)........those are my favorites. if i wasnt so into tracton & 60's now i would have deffinately invested in a set of the GT3's....but bang for the buck, integrity, & looks, ROH zs has it all(my opinion)

I used 30 dollars worth of lincoln rotors and 50 bucks worth of aerostar axles. 10 bucks apeice for rear drums. You wanna talk about cheap five lug.:)

I know they are 17" frank, I just wish they were 9 inches wide instead of 8". I have 17x8" wide wheels on my car now and I kind of regret that skinny of a wheel.
