    Intercooled or igloo'd YSi?

I am going to go YS, preferably YSi. I am keeping air and all power accessories, so that means a passenger side mount. My decision is whether to go with a straight discharge and rig up a custom air to air now or use a curved discharge and add an igloo down the road as time and money permit.

Any comments are welcome as I must make a decision SOON!

Well to be honest if it is a street car in my opinion the air/air is the way to go mainly due to less up- keep. If it is a car that sees more track than street than the aftercooler or the igloo is the way to go for the ice water factor. If i had something bigger than a novi 1000 i'd think intercooler too! LOL Love your car!

RC, the car will only see maybe 1000-1500 miles/year. Weekend toy that will see the track a couple times per month. I am leaning toward the air/air for several reasons, but I am not sure of how difficult it will be to rig up. It would be sooo much easier if I could talk myself into eliminating the ac.
I need to see some pics of someone who has already done it.

Actually, an Igloo on a street car looks kinda kick @ss. I plan on doing that with mine someday, if I ever get this frickin' 351 that I'm building together and in the car.....

Check out Spence Hart's LX with a pass side YS and an Igloo on it (scroll down a little and click on the thumbnail engine pic):
