How fast can you go with a S-Trim?

I figure I will get all my stupid questions out of the way early here LOL. I am just curious what the limit to potential is. I realize weight is a big factor here. I just recieved my V2-SQ and anderson power pipe and need something to shoot for ;) mine is a 91 LX hatch

According to Vortech the S-trim limits are 1000cfm, 20psi, and 680hp.

How fast do you want to go.

Oops forgot he was running a NOVI. Have seen them in the high 9s though.

actually on stangcrazy.con i was told he had a novi on it.

rear numbers? ive seen a few make 600+rwhp, but 610-615 seems to be the max no matter what motor its on. there have also been a few people going 9.90's, and years ago i saw one go 9.70's. 10.0's-10.teens seem to be the max norm though

actually, if you go to www.andersonfordmotorsport.com under customer cars they have brian meyer outlaw real street combo and it lists everything there

thats still screaming though through mostly stock tw heads, small cam etc--almost fast enough for renegade

I was just curious as to a potential. This is my street car i would like to put it pretty deep into to 11's. I have a 1969 mustang I drag race that goes low 10's on NOS. I just want to beat alot of my friends with my daily driver.

    Just a little good news

11's are oh so easy with the S or SQ. We bolted one on a friend's car with junky J302 heads, a F303 and Holley in a full weight GT and with 4.10's in the back and running out of gear about 1000' at a mile high it went 11.9s at 114 on 26X10's and the heavy ponies up front. Oh yeah he had the aftercooler but still.

    Hi,

I agree, right around 600 RWHP seems to be about the limit. Mine made 546 to the wheels without too much fuss, and none of my stuff is ported either, all straight out of the box parts. Deep 11's arent too hard for an S-trim. What's the rest of your combo?

heck yea 600rwhp, I have some room to grow then ;) , not alot but some. Oh wait, I'm not for sure if my block will hold. Mid 10's with my stock block and I'll be happy till I can afford some nicer things :D

My combo now is stock short block,Ported GT40X heads flow about the same as the edelbrock RPM heads(from a flow bench test of both heads) E303 cam 1.7 rockers. Trickflow street heat intake. Gforce T-5 5 speed. Right now I have 4.10 gears if I keep those I will use as tall tire as I can fit,or swap to 3.73 which I already have. The car has gone 12.9 at 106 on nitto drag radials with some spinning 1.83 60 foot. I have the SQ and power pipe on my work bench waiting for me to figure out which injector to run. This is my daily driver so I have to make it at least street friendly enough to get to the stop lights. thanks for all your responses and help.
