Ian- yes CHP built it, I bought the sportsman block and had it built through Jack. Yes I'm very stoked, but it'll still be awhile until its back together and tuned (end of Jan-begining of Feb). The pan I bought used off Jack, its a Moroso I believe.
Nice!!! What are the specs?

Eric-
All forged 327 B50 block, old school e-cam 1.7s, iron gt-40s 12-14 psi from the s-trim, 42s pro-m 80 etc. Any guesses on dyno #s, it put 420 to the wheels with the same setup, just 302 and 10 psi though.
Sounds like a good combo :) I would bet 475-500 at the wheels with 14 psi :)

thats pretty sweet! I can't wait to take plastic wrap off an engine! someday...
89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:
Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D
Thanks guys, yeah Eric I'm guessing 475ish to the wheels.
Thats gonna be my shortblock too down the road. Only exeption are the heads, intake & cam.
