mass air- cal for N/A or SC

I was wondering on yalls mass air meters. I know this question has been ask a tns of times but I would like to hear it from yall.

Right now I run a N/A mass air, but over the winder I will be putting in 50lb injectors and I already have a mass air cal for it but its cal for a SC. Any pros and cons on them. I have heard its manily up to the turner, if they like them or not.

    Thanks Brandon

Just depends on what you are using to tune, and the tuner like you said. If you have some sort of tunning device, I would say go without. I have a pro-m 80mm shortie that is calibrated for 50's without a sc. If you are interested get in touch with me. :)

The only difference between a mass air meter calibrated for SC instead of N/A is that the SC calibration adds fuel to the top end of the RPM range, where detonation and running too lean is very likely to happen on a SC'd car.

I have a S/C calibrated meter on my naturally aspirated 418. The only diff is the S/C meter gives you more fuel up top. A chip, PMS, Tweecer, etc... can take care of that for ya.

From what I have across on this subject most tuners prefer to work with the non-s/c calibrated meters, for some reason they are easier to tune with.

I have an N/A 55 cal on my meter, and it still is fat up top, without removing any pulsewidth mine drops down around 10.8-11.0:1....hopefully I'll be able to lean that back out to 11.8-12.0:1 here pretty soon. I've had both s/c and n/a, so far I like the n/a better.
