What size blower pulley do I need to make 12#'s with a 7" crank pulley on my s trim.
Im Guessing the 2.55 and 2.75 I have are going to give me much more than that.

what size do u have now?
Have you thought about just going with a 8inch crank pulley. That is what I have decided to do. I have read alot and the boost comes on alot faster. Which to me is real nice casue I spend all my time at the 1/8 mile tracks.

Chuck,
I'm pretty sure the 3.125 will do the job. with a powerpipe of course. If i'm not mistaken the size smaller is the 2.95 and i've seen those make 14lbs on a 10 sec car.
Escapee to the vortech camp. SHEESH![]()
just joking how do you like it? I'm sure you're not crusin though with this weather
89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:
Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D
No cruising yet.
I switched mainly because the blower has the Alternative auto 351 bracket. It also came with a power pipe, 10 rib pullies and the Anderson brace. I got a hella good deal on it and its in very nice shape.
I like the NOVI but this S trim just had to many good things included to pass it up.

ahhhh smart move for the future. I got the revised N1k with full intentions of going to the 2000. it's all there except the 351 bracket.

Depending on how efficient you motor is, the 2.75 should be making 14-15psi at close to sea level and the 2.55 should produce 15-17psiOriginally Posted by Chuck
My car with a 7" crank and a 2.95 is making 10psi at 5600 ft above sea level,,, this would make about 12-14 at sea level, Just give Vortech a call,, they are pretty helpful at letting you know what pulleys will produce what boost on different applications,, Bee
