Question Best piston rings for boost on a 5.0L Mustang?

What's the best kind of piston ring to use for boost on a 5.0L Mustang? I'll be putting together a mild but strong street motor that will probably see at most 15 psi.

I would probably call a reputable engine builder to answer this questions. You could try Coast High Performance (I have dealt with them personally reguarding questions I have had in the past), D.S.S, ect. They would be able to guide you in the right direction.

ed is the man!...but i can tell you that we(and alot of renegade racers )use plain old moly rings w/30 lbs of boost all the time...the bad thing is if you detonate them hard the moly flakes off...my personal choice is the total seal hellfire material(or speed pro) it wil take serious abuse and will seal fairly quick,a little more money but they hold up!the stainless rings work good but take awhile to seal and not really made for street use...those and the tool steel are kinda hard on the bore.if i were you i would stick with the moly.....

Cool. I was thinking moly rings would be fine but I wanted to make sure.
