Woohoo, more progress. Got the last four pistons in w/o incident today, everything torqued down to specs and she spins smooth as silk w/ no clearance issues :D
Camshaft is up next....

Sean what kind of roller lifter are you going with? It looks as though it uses a non stock type of setup?

My guess is he took the easy way out and went dot to dot. That is what I do. I'll make up for it with boost.;)

Steve, I have a set of the crane retrofit link-bar lifters, I didn't much care for the idea of modifying the dogbones and spyder. Once again, hindsight is 20/20 and had I forseen actually buying one of these blocks I would have done a solid roller assembly. Oh well, it'll give me a something to change down the road should I get the itch to tear into the motor again.
Dan, Steve's correct.....I took the lazy way out and just went dot to dot. I just didn't have the access to the tools needed to degree the cam.
I was hoping the brown truck would pay me a visit and drop off my Canton pan yesterday but no such luck, which sucks cause my wife has the next several days off & I could have made some good progress over the w/e.

90 strawberry coupe
Well hit a small snag today, was gonna put the heads on & check my p/v clearance but the 1/2" head studs were too big for the lower holes on my TFS heads. Gonna have to hit the machine shop tomorrow & borrow his drill press to get them big enough to fit the studs.

I had to do the same thing on mine. No big dill. Actually it was easier to just use a hand drill. The hole is alreay half drilled.
