    AIR ASSIST ON YS-TRIM

How exactly does the air assist work and what are the benefits??

And are they worth the modification?

The air assist uses a little of the blowers boost to help atomize the incoming oil,its supposed to cause less drag and pooling. Its advertized to pick up some power, but ive never seen anything first hand.

I was thinking something along that line, however wouldn't that expose the crank case (via the oil return to the sump) to excessive positive pressure?

We are only just starting to see a few of these being used down under.

I guess it could,i would also think the blower seals couldnt be to happy, however it may not be enough pressure to warrant a concern.
