WooHooo!!!! Got that D*mn Bolt out!!

About two hours of work and it's out. It took two Dremel carbide tips, a Cobalt drill bit, several other drill bits alot of Cussing and a tap, but I finally got it out, ran a tap thru and somehow managed not to even scratch the threads in the block.

Anyways, the Canton pan is now on. :D

If all goes well this week at school and I get the time to finish up a few things on the motor without any more issues, it goes back in the engine bay come next w/e. Then I get to start on figuring out how to pull a transmission outta my butt :D

    Tranny

Sean, what kind of tranny are you looking for? You already have one and just need to get it built, or are you looking for a new/used one? I know a guy trying to get out of the Mustang salvage business and he may have some stuff laying around.

No joke, I thought for sure that I'd end up screwing up the threads, but the planets must have been in proper alignment that day or something. Still haven't had a chance to take any pics of it yet though, between school & that Arcade my time just seems to get eatin away :D

rethreading is easy. the hard part is if you have to drill a new hole, getting it in the right place.
