    New novi 2k owner questions! Please help.

    I'm really pumped about this site, but now for my questions. I just purchased a novi 2k real street kit. Same as the street novi, but with a race bypass, and no fmu. I did buy a stock fmu for the car as well, along with a anderson power pipe. My first question pertains to my serp. belt set up. I have a manual rack and no ac or smog pump, so i really don't know how to set up the belt for my alternator and waterpump. Do you guy's have any suggestions? My next question pertains to the tune of my car. I just have some 24# injectors, and plan to keep the stock pullies on the set up. (stock 130k mile long block) how much feul presure, and timing should i run. I don't have a btm, and i have a 255lph intank pump. My main concern right now is the serp. belt though. I'm really excited about this site. Thanks in advance.

    My main concern for you would be your fuel system. You can get away with the 24 pound injectors. Keep your initial timing no more than 6 degrees. Set your fuel pressure to 44psi with vacuum off. Save your money buy a BTM, injectors, MAF, and at the minimum 255l in tank pump. As far as your serp belt question. Are you saying that your blower is driven by the serp belt like a Novi 1000, or are you asking how to route the serp belt?

    ABOUT THE SERP. BELT

    No, i was referring to the serp. belt and not the blower belt. I don't no how i should rout it with the accessories i have. any ideas. thanks for the info on the feul system dugscpe.

    i ran a 255 intank,42lbs injectors, an my car was leaning out at 5,300 rpm. you probably going to need more fuel (trex).as far as the belt goes not really sure, thats one upgrade i would love to do for my car in the near future.good luck

    I have 4 head gaskets that say 24# injectors are not enough. I also had exploreer heads, intake and an e-cam. I upgraded to 42's and lost my fmu. I also run a 255 intank and a 255 pusher. I feel that you can never have enough fuel.

    Did you have any computer mods with the 42's and no fmu? I'm real convinced, that 24's arn't enough, but I'm going to try to get away with them for the time being. The reason I ask, is that I'm trying to decide if i should buy a pms that I have located.

    I use an Interceptor 2, but you could tune it with a fuel pressure gauge and a BTM. I also use an EGT to keep an eye on things.
