    It's fixed - again

It took me the better part of 3 hours to trim down that new MkVIII fan so that it wouldn't rub on the SC pulley (test fit, trim, test fit ad nauseum). Then my bloody soldering iron couldn't handle the task of wiring up the new harness. But in the end, I got it all squared away and she's running again. My hats off to all of you that can whip projects like this out in a couple of hours or less.

Only problem is now I'm afraid of what will break next. Maybe I'll get lucky and she'll hold together for a few months now.

So it's back to the track to practice, practice, practice!

BTW - I can still smell coolant, and I know I've still got a coolant leak somewhere. I thought I read somewhere that there is a dye that can be added to your coolant that then shows up with a black light. Can anybody give me a little more info?

Call my cell phone David and I'll let you use my cooling system pressure tester. You can pump it up and pressurize the system so you can find the leak when the engine isn't running.
