Who's got smaller blower pulleys on?

I'm thinking of voiding the warrenty and spinning it quicker. I just want to see what different pulley combinations people are running and what kind of boost they're seeing.
I also want to see how many people are maxing this thing out cause I'm thinking of it.

So pulley's and crank sizes, boost and mods please....single or revised novi doesn't matter to me.

with the way that these things are blowing seals i sure wouldn't. i wish that i hadn't done it now. the stupid thing blew the seal on me and is leaking oil on the impeller side. it started not even 2 months after i had the factory one turned down to 2.75". just my luck. is going to run $359 to get new seals and bearings from paxton.

I had the 2.75 and 6.5 crank no issues at all. I daily drove the car and saw a consistant 10#'s of boost. Mods in sig.

Sinner, Go for it! I'd like to see how you car runs with either the 3.25 or the 3" pulley. Remeber that the 3" will put you in frank woodall zone as far as boost is concerned!

    Frank rocks!
89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:

    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D

Slider- how long did your run the stock boost for?

    I think I'd go for a 3.15" pulley if I can...that would put me at 54,840 RPM @ 6100rpm.

    Would Vortech blower pulley's fit?

Renegade pulleys aren't the same as cog are they...they just got little cut outs in them right?

How many people are blowing seals?

    Thanks

I've got a 2.75" but haven't tried it yet. Warranty wasn't a concern as I bought mine just prior to Paxton going to the 3 yr. warranty so I only had a year on mine and that's long gone.

the only time it had all the factory pullies on it was when i first put it on and was working all the bugs out. shortly after that is when the 1st one went out. i took it back to summit and they exchanged it for me. i ran the next one for about 8 months with just the f150 pulley on it and decided to turn the blower pulley down to 2.75". about a couple weeks after that is when it blew the seal again.
