    Automatic Guys considering a Converter...

    I would like to recommend Edge Converters!! Customer service is top notch, Andre spent more than 30 min. on the phone with me covering my needs, wants and combo. Set me up with a custom converter and had it on my doorstep in about a week. To boot I got a new T-shirt!!

    If this converter performs half as good as Andre's service it'll be well worth every penny, especially when I kick a local guys tail who thinks that Hughes $900+ converter is the only way to go :D

    I've heard good things about them also from others. Also Precision Industries' converters are supposedly top notch.

    thats cool. Just curious how much does a Edge converter run?

    Thats just good to hear about customer service, casueI don't care how there product is if they bad customer service I'm not doing business with them. Thats why I like buying through JDS casue they kick *** and don't make you feel like your a dipshit when buying parts.


    I went with a Precision converter for awile and love that thing, but damn it was pretty expensive. Now I have one of my uncle's converter (i have no idea who built it :) )
    89 GT - old combo -AOD, S-trimed, 302, stock short block - 6.67@106 with a 1.60 60ft, 4.10 gears. dyno 474rwhp, best in 1/4 3.55 gears 10.83@128 1.67
    Damn them stock cranks :(

    Eric, it's a 9.5", stall is set-up for 4000.

    Looks like a very nice pan on that sucker!! aluminum? Converter flash and a blower can be a real hoot! ;)

    Brent, you are correct it's an alum pan. I'm hoping to get at least 3500 off the footbrake, that'll let me spool up a couple pounds from what I understand.
