    UPR "Power Pipe"

Has anyone used the new UPR "PowerPipe". It seems like a reasonable price at $149.00 as opposed to the $230 for the AFM Power Pipe. I know the UPR is made from a plastic rather than metal, but each material has its own benefits and drawbacks. Thanks.. Lee

    Hey Lee,

I have one of these on the way here, mine's going to go onto a Novi 1000 in my '90. I won't be able to get mine installed for a few weeks tho -- I'm deep into some body resto work right now, then I'm off to vacation in Florida for the first two weeks of April. I should be able to post some initial comments @ mid to late April.

I installed one on my 94 GT. I had to trim the fenderwell and work at getting the pipe from pushing the inner fender too far down. For the 86-93 cars I would recommend them, but for the 94-95's I would get an Anderson Power Pipe.

I'm using one on my 89 Mustang with a T-Trim. It works great but be ready to do some cutting of the inner fender. It's well worth the effort.
