    14lbs too much?

I have an 89' gt vert with the following mods:
75mm pro flow mass air, cobra upper and lower, 24lb injectors, cam, msd ignition, tremec t5 and some other mods like bbk headers to flowmasters. I just recently bought a p600b with a 14 and a 17lbs pulley and wanted to know if 14 was too much for what i have. My car is an everyday driver and i asked the guy i bought it from said that the 14 is fine and that i should just get the mass air meter recal'd and get 36 or 42lb injectors and i would be fine. Please give me some of your opinions. Thanks for any help it is greatly appreciated.

Honestly if you have a stock motor and 14 psi, as long as you have adquate fuel supply i think you'll be fine. 24's I doubt will do the job. Start the timing consevative and work your way up. Did you get the really nice ATI fmu with the bleeder valve on it??
89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:

    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D

14 lb kit will be fine. Just make sure it is tuned right and you get enough fuel.
Its not the boost that kills a motor, its improrer tuning.

    Good luck and have fun!

I agree, 14 psi would be OK, the 24# injectors would be fine.
Just retard the initial timing about 4 degrees.
Are you using the 2 or 3 core intercooler???
I recomend you use the Intercooler, just to keep things safe.
    Enjoy the boost!!!

Good move! Be safe with the 42#s and if you ever want to do any more mods you are ready without having to upgrade! Pro-M now makes an ATI meter I just got it along with one of their custom chips I will let you know how it all goes together when I am done in a few days.
