i just installed a 3g 130 amp alternator on my mustang. always before when i would kick the fan on you could watch the needle drop some on the volt meter on the dash. i figured that once i had the 3g on there that the needle wouldn't even budge now but it still moves down some until the fan gets up to speed. is this normal? it seems to be able to keep up now at least. always before all i could run with the fan was the low beams, nothing else. at least now i can run the fan on high and the lights on.
