    vr4 blow off valve

    do you guys run a blow off valve with your vr4's? if so, which one?

    You will need one or the impeller blade will chip away or cause the balls to skip across the impeller shaft. You can run the bosch unit till about 10psi then you will need something better like the Vortech unit which will cost you a couple hundred dollars.

    which bosch unit are you speaking of?

    It is the volvo valve and runs with lines about $100. superchargers online always has them in stock

    I have found quite a few on ebay. I am trying to figure out how to put a bov in my system? I have that curved s like system for the tpi z 28's. Found a bov for a porshse that is rated up to 30psi and is adjustible for 40.bucks.

    you want a bypass valve...not a blow off valve.

    you route it from the discharge tube of the supercharger to the intake pipe of the supercharger after the maf.

    I have a speed density system. From what I have read, I want my bov between teh supercharger and the tube that leads to my intake, which will allow pressure to release due to sudden throttle closure.
