    Took out the BlackBeast!

Well guys i got tired of looking at the car sit and waiting for the damn dyno. So i set the timing on 8*(spout in)no FMU w/my Accel FP regulator. The verdict was i saw 8lbs at 4500-4800rpm, fuel pressure went to 48psi w/ base at 40psi vac on. Needless to say, the car ran real strong, with no audible Detonation. Didn't push it past 4800, until i can get the dyno pulls. So far so good. It felt good to feel the boost again, i have a smile from ear to ear right now, kind of like this :D P.S. No bucking, surging, hesitation, or stalling!! That's with 42's, 83mm MAF, and no FMU, completely stock electronics and no dyno tune, on 93 octane! Can't wait to see what 6000RPM and a tune will bring!

Yeah, i got some financial sticks in the fire right now, but i want to get on track with something like a PMS. So i'm gonna concentrate on just making sure the car is'nt lean, then i'll go from there. What are you using for tuning Brandon?

I have the PMS 04 one with InterACQ software and now an LM1 wideband.

    • Where did you pick up your LM1?
    • Has it worked well for you?
    • Are you happy with 04 PMS?
The reason for all the questions is i'm looking into the same setup for my car. The PMS seems user friendly, which is why i was thinking of getting one. Has it been user friendly for you? Sorry for all the questions Brandon.

    - got the LM1 from a guy off the board. Not for sure if his name is the same on here but its hotrodcobra. He is a dealer in them. Very nice guy, I actually went to his house to pick it up. If thats not his username on here, that is nis name on dfwstangs.

    - Haven't really used it yet. I think I just got it figured out. Was confused there for alittle bit. I guess I should have read more on the instructions.

    - Love the 04, alot easier to mess with and more to look at. Also since I have the InterACQ for datalogging makes things easier. But I still haven't gottne my tune down to run like it did before with the old PMS. Some weird things have went on and not for sure. But everything looks fine and runs just fine, just not as fast.
