SN series fluid change intervals

How often is the preferred interval for changing out the type F fluid in the unit? And is anyone trying something different, like B&M trick shift fluid?

I was told that ford type f is the best period. I use ford type f and change it every 1000 miles or less. In the summer time, and if I am boosting the unit a lot...I change it every 500-1000. Winter time, evey 1500 miles. Just good cheap insurance to change it often.
