    The car's up here Bob. Tomorrow we travel to the track. Bracket T/T are Fri & Sat, and eliminations start Sun morning. I know I'm not going to have enough motor to get me to the end of the 1/4, so that will be a distinct disadvantage when it comes to trying to run consistently. But I still plan on going rounds (somehow - I've got the will).

    On the bright side, I ran a 6.85 at the Q on the 28" slicks last Friday, so there should be a 6.7x in there with the 26" slicks and a good track (i.e. Barona) :-)

    Doug seems to be good @ messing with folks avatars. I suppose he has to be good @ something, seeings how he cant make a Rustang get down the track w/o changing lanes. ;)

    NBL, baby!!!

    The funny thing is Bob that my car is still faster than yours while spinning the tires and changing lanes.

    You going to Barona on Sunday? I'm going to take the car up there and try to run a couple of 5's if I can keep it straight.

    I will be up there on Saturday with Steve & Tom (the nova twins, LOL). I have plans on Sunday, so I wont be able to go that day. Im not going to rush the car. Im hoping to have it finished in a few weeks. I got a new regulator for the N2O system yesterday, & new cooling fans for the radiator, so hopefully I can set the Fuel pressure high enough & keep the motor cool. the next thing to get done is to finish up the data logger/WBO2 & see if I cant figure out the timing on the stupid thing. Oh yea, & I STILL dont have a trailer to tote the dumb thing around on. I will drive it down to the Q, but tow it to "the B". & yea, your car will probably still be faster than mine once I get it going. funny thing about motors that are about the same size, but you have 5 Compression points more than I have.

    Check this out Bob

    From my third pass today:

    60' = 1.582
    330' = 4.514
    1/8 = 6.998 @ 98.93
    1000 = 9.135
    1/4 = 10.949 @ 121.79

    I ran out of motor somewhere around 1150 - 1200'. Just a little bit more rpm, and I think I could have laid down a 10.8x.

    But that will all be fixed with the new motor...

    Oh yeah - density altitude here is about 3500'. A sea level run should trim that time to about a 10.7 I would think.
