I guess buying a Ford Racing boost gauge is a good excuse for buying a supercharger eh? :D I already started polishing the blower and charge pipe tonight :) What is a Vortech Power Cooler worth?

That's where I went wrong with the wife..... I should have bought the boost guage 1st and then said "but Honey....You can't have a boost gauge w/o a blower", lol.
Snap some pics of the blower when ya finish polishing it.....
Dart Block 331 and No Power Adder, currently in pieces...... :weird:Originally Posted by Kato Engineering

how u likeing ur new toy, keep me posted on how the build up is going really intreasted in how much power ur going to put out
Get the serial number off of the blower and call Vortech. It may have been upgraded. If so then they should have a record of it.
All I know is that this thing is gonna be a terror. I'm gonna call down to AD Performance and see about that stroker kit. My EFI parts should start to come in ths week. Now I'm gonna try and track down one of those fuel pumps that was recommended here. Then I get to decide on a cam. Probably gonna be an AFM cam, they've got some nice stuff. Will an 8" Renegade pulley work with this kit?

im not sure if it will fit but that whould slow down the rotation of the supercharger meaning less boost because the one with the kit is 7 inch u might want to go with a smaller pully for the supercharger if u want more boost
If you change the crank pulley to a larger one when using the same head-unit pulley, you spin the head-unit pulley faster. Like a bicycle, using the same gear at the tire but going up a gear (larger diameter + more teeth) on the crank while pedaling the same speed, you go faster. Know what I mean? I E-Mailed AD Performance for my heads and stroker combo today :D
P.S. Olie, I meant crank pulley, not head unit for the 8", that may be where the confusion lies
ok yeh that makes more sense
With an 8" crank you will need like a 3.33 or 3.5 SC pulley so as not to over spin the S-trim. Definitly very little slippage with that set up.Originally Posted by 5.0LTwiggy
