My friend had an 88 coupe and when that car got wrecked he got a nice 90, same style. He was choked at how much weaker it was . It was clearly a Friday afternoon engine. However, a full Edelbrock package and nitrous woke that thing up real good.

We took a 302 with over 150k miles on it straight out the junkyard, pressure washed it, put a cam in it, a edelbrock rpm intake with a 2 stacked bigshot plates, with a good exhaust system backed by a C4 and went 10.70's with a 250 shot (with 100% stock shortblock and untouche E7 heads), in a 2900lbs coupe.
