    But, 89 was the first year for mass air, Speed...88 was the last year for SD, and the Cali cars had MA in 88. Retrofit?

    My friend had an 88 coupe and when that car got wrecked he got a nice 90, same style. He was choked at how much weaker it was . It was clearly a Friday afternoon engine. However, a full Edelbrock package and nitrous woke that thing up real good.

    nitrous always wakes em up. We took a 302 with over 150k miles on it straight out the junkyard, pressure washed it, put a cam in it, a edelbrock rpm intake with a 2 stacked bigshot plates, with a good exhaust system backed by a C4 and went 10.70's with a 250 shot (with 100% stock shortblock and untouche E7 heads), in a 2900lbs coupe.
