What size lower are you running, the 8"? I ran a 3.33/8" for a while and made about 18 psi.

On my 351 YSi I went from 8"/3" with 16 psi at 6,000 to a 8"/2.7 and made 20 psi. So .3 smaller gained me ~ 4psi. Or visa/versa loss 4 psi.
Where are you shifting at?
