    my turbo system

Today we decided to stick it on on a motor on the stand to see how everything works. Now this was just a motor we had laying around (not going to use it ) . We still need to figure out the intercooler but that will be alittle later down the road. what do yall think

my god! that is gonna be sick! i was gonna ask about the IC or lack thereof, its set up in that picture w/o a IC, I didnt think youd run it this way. now give a rundown on the motor its going on, how much boost, what power level etc. IF you dont mind.

well its going on a Dart 331
prolly some AFR 225, or might go with somthing else , depending on if I find something used or not.
160lb injectors (already have, got a pretty good deal so I could pass up)
Spyder intake(already have, but might switch)
soild cam (so I can rev the **** out of it :D)
    AOD-E ;)
    PMS

I'm wanting to break the 1000 mark, but if not thats cool. At least after its tuned and running good I want it to run mid 5's in the 1/8. whats ever amount of boost it takes.

I remember reading in another post that its not gonna see the street, you think about doing a glide over the AODE??? youd pick up big time there.

Yea I know I would gain some there. But this is my uncle transmission. Just trying to help him out and prove thatthe AOD and AOD-E can hold up to some power. And then they will still be able to drive them on the street and have overdrive. The car will prolly never hit the street, but it ill have overdrive. Just helping him out ;) Plus there are alot of non AOD believer out there and I want to prove them wrong. They say it might work but not long. Running mid 5's and still having overdrive sounds pretty sweet huh? Plus just using the PMS casue everyone has been telling to switch to the FAST. Which I know that is prolly a better system, but I already have the datalogging stuff and itss paid for :D. That damn FAST is 2K  , maybe later on down the road.

But the plan is to get hte motor built and have the turbo in by the end of the year (05). Casue its going to take awile to built the motor.

Yes Brandon that's going to be a bad machine, my brother in law uses the fast with his turbo 351 and he says it's the only way to go. can't say myself though. I have been in his car and it's scary *** fast.

    thanks guys

fanglemeister - casue its not hook up :D. Thats just a stock motor, we are not using it. Just think with a stock motor and a PT88, I wonder on how long it would take to spool the turbo up , or if it ever could.:D

Spray 100 horses at it and it'll spool. :teeth:
89 Coupe with parts stacked inside of it and about 30#'s of dust on it with no end in sight. :weird:

    Although I am collecting parts for a 12.5:1 393 :D

That's one sweet looking set-up, Doin't think that exhaust system will pass Texas inspection though :D
