It took a while, but I finally got the UPR Powerpipe installed and actually running smooth with the C&L maf on my 92 LX 347 w/ S-trim..
For the 1st time I saw 10# of boost out of my combo, the most I ever saw before was 8#. I actually felt the extra 2# on the top end, it felt nice.
Here is the 1st question:
I don't know if maybe I have to work a little more with clocking the maf or what, but the car feels a little bit softer on the low end, but stronger up top since doing the powerpipe.
Has anyone else felt like this after installing the powerpipe???
2nd question:
Damn if this thing doesn't put the air filter almost sticking out of the front under the bumper, I could see losing the whole set-up if it came loose.
Is it normal for it to be like that???
Is there any way to secure it besides the worm clips???
