Oil Cooler Necessity for SN-89 if seeing 39k RPMs?

I'm finally getting around to getting my SN-89 installed on my Rx-7. I was talking to another guy who used to have the same setup, and he claims that having an oil cooler is necessary or I will burn up the supercharger. I have purchased a supercharger pulley that will limit the supercharger's redline to 39k RPMS at 8k engine RPMs. Keep in mind that I won't be spending extended periods of time at that high of an RPMs. Is this oil cooler necessary? If so how much is it and how difficult is it to install?

    Thanks.

I think the SN runs close to that on mine, and lots of others' 5.0s, without blowup so, I think you'll be fine under 40K
