    Novi 1k weird idle noise?

    Run a pretty much new novi 1000 on my 88 GT. At idle, there is a power steering whine almost to the blower. The noise wasn't there before, but the blower has maybe 1000 miles on it, breaking it now i guess. The noise to very noticable to me. Is the novi dying? And If it is, maybe I should of went Vortech.

    Hmmm, my NOVI sounds like an airplane durning idle, I love the noise. It's been on the car well over a year. What type of oil are you using?
    NOVI 1000 power.

    belt was tightened. When I grab both sides of the belt by the crank its very tight

    how do you tighten the blower belt?i use a click type torque wrench and torque to 90 foot pounds.novi88
