Smile Vortech screws up, then steps up!

    So I ordered a 8 rib pulley kit, 8 inch crank/ 3.33 blower.

After waiting a good while (17 days) I got a 10 rib 3.33 blower pulley, 10 rib belt (first thought it was 8) and a COG'd crank pulley.

I called up Vortech got ahold of Mike is service, he was very helpful and upgraded me to a 10 rib 8 inch crank for my troubles. :blob:

remeber the 10 rib 8" pulley is over 200 bucks alone, the complete 8rib set up was 229.

So, I tip my hat to Vortech and say "nicely done. and thanks for the upgrade."

whoever "FFC" on the inspected by label, I feel bad for the *** chewing that is coming his way.

    Congrats Joe, nice score.

Good luck clearing the fan shroud with the 10 rib set-up though.

I have a super thin POS zirgo, It appears it will be ok.

The belt is massive and looks sweet.

Awesome!!! :) gotta love it when you get well compensated for a seller's screw up.

My next purchase at JD's performance is going to be at their cost because Spec sent me the wrong clutch through them. Got the right clutch in 2 days after I called them too.

People make mistakes but good customer service is what it is all about. And it is very hard to find these days.

I have delt with Mike @ Vortech for years and he is a great guy.

sounds good, but will it cause you any other issues? Clearances, higher cost of new belts, etc? I guess it gives you plenty of room to grow :)

The 8/3.33 pulley combo turned my car into an animal.

5-6 psi almost instantly, saw just over 10 around 4700-4900 rpms...before I got out of it.

    the BFG's have little chance...
