    Fastest?

Who has done the fastest quarter of a mile or squeezed most power from a V-7ysi?
    Building a BMW M3 1993 with a V-7ysi, aiming for 1000hp and a 8 sek on the strip?
I´ve done 9,47/151mph last year with the same car but with a turbo charger.

    FWIW

Don't think I'm the fastest, but I had 670 rwhp with the YSi and went 10.32 with MT DR's and a 1.53 60'.

Just some info that may help you???
351 "stockshort block": -Vortech T-trim (21 psi), Trick Flow Heads, Lunati Cam, Weldon fuel system, Lentech AOD., 3.55 gears, 27" Hoosier QTP's, 3500# with me

    -545 rwhp
    -10.02 @ 135mph---Is 9.99 to much to ask?:freaks:
    -1.42-- 60'

There are guys in NMRA Renegade going 8.7's who have to abide by class rules so I would say there are people probably going faster than that. Good Luck though, send us pics when you have it together, or upload them to the photopost section.

Let me guess, you are from a Scandanavian country ??? They are all mad there !!!!!!!!!!!

Myself and a couple of friends were thinking about heading to Sweden/Norway or similar next year, and maybe attend a couple of dragstrips.
Ive seen so many videclips, that I'd really love to get to some events there.

Do you have any info that would be useful ?? Are they strict on rules etc for road cars, that may run 10's ? ( not there yet, but getting close )

Yes, i´m from Sweden,ve are not mad just love to have fun and you are welcome here to participate, quite soft rules for street cars. You`ll need a cage if you´re faster than 12 sek!

Does that apply to both Norway and Sweden ?

The 3 cars that would be going, if we went all run under 12, and will hopefully be in the 10's by then. One of them already runs 10.7 @ 147 ( Novi2000 Viper )
I think he has a roll bar, but its not a cage.
