ROll Cage anyone who has one HELP ME :)

I am going to putting a roll cage in my 1990 mustang within the month "i think", and I want to have a 10pt that goes through the dash.

I was wondering what is involved with going through the dash, and any help from those who have done it.

Do I remove the dash, and put the cage in, and put the dash back in by cutting notches out of the speaker grills?

What is a good brand to install?

Also any pictures would be cool :)

I had fast chassis here in ky do mine but here's a pic. You have to pull the dash,though and make a slice in the speaker grill.

Yeah, I guess it depends on if I want a hole in the dahs, or a smal,l missing part out of the back.

I would rather notch a spot out of the dash to just be able to slide the dash in. Instead of pulling the dash out a little putting the bar through the whole I would cut, and putting the dash back in.

Pull the complete dash and windshield out if you want it to look nice when painted. I wouldn't skimp on it and I think you are doing the right thing by getting the 10pt right off the bat.

Something else you might think about, is do you want a chromoly or mild steel cage.

i don't care about the money :) I want stronger

I was going to paint it before I put it in up to the joints where I have to weld

So I don't think I would need to take the windshield out
